Monitors Marine Engine Raw Water Flow to prevent engine damage due to overheating.

Activates a visual or audibile device immediately whenever raw water flow is stopped or impeded is a two wire, non- polarity switch that is Normally Closed (Normally Open available) and opens at 8 to 10 GPM of raw water flow.

It stays open until flow slows or ceases and then actives any audible or visual boat alarm.

The Aqualarm Cooling Water Flow Detector is unique in the marine electronic industry, developed and patented specifically for marine engines. It activates an immediate alarm (not included) upon loss of raw water flow to the engine. With today's polluted bays and harbours, it is quite easy to ingest debris or a plastic baggie, interrupting the flow of cool water to the engine. system.

Installation Instructions

Model 200 (2” FPT) and Model 206 (1-1/2” FPT)

Two Hose to Barb adapters are needed to complete your installation.

IMPORTANT: The Model 200 is a 2” FPT and should be used on applications with a hose diameter of 2” or greater.

Install the Flow Detector between the raw water sea strainer and the engine pump raw water intake. The Detector can be installed between the engine raw water discharge and exhaust raw water overboard.

Be sure the flow direction arrow on the Detector corresponds with the engine raw water flow direction.

PLEASE NOTE; INSTALL FLOW DETECTOR IN A HORIZONTAL POSITION. AS SHOWN IN INSTRUCTIONS WITH PRODUCT.

The Detector has been pre-set at the factory for the lowest flow rate and is not adjustable.

Because the Detector switch is a Normally Closed switch (opens at flow) the Detector should be wired using the ignition key switch. It will receive power only when the engine is turned on.

Switch rated at: 12-32 VDC - 0.5 Amps. DO NOT ATTACH ANY DEVICE, (AUDIBLE, LIGHT ETC.) THAT DRAWS MORE THAN 0.5 AMPS.
